From rivers of blood to a plague of frogs and a great deluge In Los Angeles, Floods, Plagues & End of Days features visual highlights of the biblical curses that were once inflicted upon Egypt and a prophesy of a coming apocalypse. While dark in nature the imagery retains a feeling of serenity  and calm before the storm with impending doom lurking In the shadows.

Joey Remmers was born in 1978 and raised in a small
town in the San Bernardino Mountains. Influenced at an
early age by a mother who painted, as well as to many
horror films and a interest in the macabre, Joey now
works as a illustrator and tattoo artist in Orange, CA
where he lives with his wife and two children.

"I've always like the idea and feel of peaceful,
serene landscapes but laced with sinister, underlying
themes."

Joeys work has appeared in galleries across the United
States and Europe as well as on the covers of
several Literary Journals and Magazines. 'Floods,
Plagues and the End of Days' will be Remmers second
solo exhibition.
